Technical Center
Our management vision “New Design For The Next” embodies our desire to create a better society of tomorrow with new ideas and strategies that make use of instrumentation. To realize this vision, it is imperative that we constantly refine our instrumentation technologies and conduct R&D activities to respond to technological innovations that continue to evolve dynamically. The Technical Center was established in April 2014 as a base for the study of such technologies and the conduct of R&D activities.
The center is equipped with physical equipment such as heat sources (heat storage tanks), air conditioning equipment, storage battery facilities, and robotics equipment, all of which are utilized to provide instrumentation technology-related education of high practical value. At the same time, the center engages in the development of technologies that meet the needs of the new era as part of our goal to create a smart society.
R&D activities undertaken by a dedicated team of engineers
The systems engineering department conducts a variety of R&D activities with the aim of strengthening our engineering capabilities and effectively utilizing the technical expertise we have accumulated.
We are refining and expanding the scope of our technologies through the in-house development of tools to support our solutions business and the research and development of advanced technologies such as smart building energy management systems (BEMS).
Features of technical education at the Technical Center
The Technical Center provides intensive specialized technical training in small groups and practical training involving the actual use of equipment to improve the proficiency of our employees and affiliate companies.
